Product ideas can sound great on paper and work flawlessly in the lab, but once in the hands of your customers, real world issues can unfold. If you are trying out new product ideas, you need to understand what your customers really need and want and where the opportunities are to leverage your new product. If you are testing existing products, you need to know how your customers are really interacting with your product, what is working well (or not working), and what opportunities there are for improving the customer experience. Quintus Design can help you get into your customers’ world – we work right along side them whether in an office, on the factory floor, or in the cab of an 18-wheeler. We observe what they are doing with your product and why – and often learn things you’ll never discover in the safe confines of the laboratory or beta site. The goal of all usability testing is to better serve your customer’s needs and to fit seamlessly and compellingly into their work or leisure environment. Field research provides the most complete answers to how customers perceive your product. The earlier you know what your customers think, the better. |
